The Huawei P40 shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 also counts with better video frame rates and a camera with a better resolution.
