The Huawei P40 has an overall score of 86.4, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro's general score of 77.2. Huawei P40's design has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, but it is just a little bit lighter. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS, but Huawei P40 has the previous 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Huawei P40 features a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features a bit more vivid screen than Huawei P40, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and a quite lower pixel density, it also counts with a quite bigger display.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro counts with a little bit more storage for applications and games than Huawei P40, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has a 5 percent more battery capacity.
Huawei P40 counts with a lot better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and although they both have the same aperture, the Huawei P40 also has a lot better (4K) video resolution, a way larger back-facing camera sensor which provides a lot better photo and video quality and a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
