Comparison review
The Huawei P40 is much better than the ZTE Axon 20, with a overall score of 86.4 against 77.8. Both of these phones use the same Android 10 operating system. Even though the Huawei P40 and ZTE Axon 20 were released with only 9 months difference, Huawei P40's body is somewhat lighter but a little bit thicker than ZTE Axon 20.
The Huawei P40 features a bit sharper display than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little higher display pixels density. Huawei P40 counts with a bit better processing unit than ZTE Axon 20, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores.
The ZTE Axon 20 captures a little bit better photos and videos than Huawei P40, because although it has a much smaller camera sensor offering a lot worse image quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the same video frame rate and the same diafragm aperture, the ZTE Axon 20 also counts with a much higher resolution camera.
The ZTE Axon 20's storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is very similar to Huawei P40's one, both of them have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity. The ZTE Axon 20 has a little longer battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has 4220mAh of battery capacity instead of 3800mAh.
In addition to being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, Huawei P40 is also by far the cheapest one, making it an easy decision.
