Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a general score of 87.1, which is much better than Huawei P8max's 72.1 global score. Although the Samsung Galaxy Note9 is thicker than Huawei P8max, it's somewhat lighter and newer. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a sharper screen than Huawei P8max, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and way more pixels per inch of screen.
The Galaxy Note9 features a little faster CPU than Huawei P8max, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Note9 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Note9 features a much better storage for applications and games than Huawei P8max, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
Huawei P8max counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Note9, because it has a 9 percent greater battery size. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a much better camera than Huawei P8max, because although it has a lesser mega-pixels resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a much bigger aperture to take better low light images and videos and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
