Huawei Mate 30 Pro is a lot better than the Huawei P8 Max, with an 87.1 score against 72.6. Even though the Huawei Mate 30 Pro is much thicker than the Huawei P8 Max, it's somewhat lighter and also a lot newer. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 30 Pro has the newer 10 version while Huawei P8 Max has Android 5.0 version, so it counts with a couple additional features.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro counts with a superior processing unit than Huawei P8 Max, because it has a larger number of cores (and also faster) and 5 GB more RAM memory. The Huawei P8 Max features a little bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because although it has a quite lower pixel density and a bit worse 1920 x 1080px resolution, it also counts with a little bigger display.
