Comparison review
Xperia Z5 Premium has an overall score of 79.8, which is slightly better than Huawei P9 Plus's global score of 75.5. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but the Xperia Z5 Premium has the previous 5.1 version and Huawei P9 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat. Although it's the best in this comparison, the Xperia Z5 Premium is a thicker and heavier phone than Huawei P9 Plus.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a much more vibrant screen than Huawei P9 Plus, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a much greater pixel quantity per inch in the display and a lot better 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a processing unit that's just as good as Huawei P9 Plus's CPU, because although the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has less RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, it also counts with an extra graphics processor.
Xperia Z5 Premium has a better camera than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a way higher video resolution, a way larger camera sensor which gives a lot better image and video quality, a lot more mega-pixels back-facing camera and a bigger aperture. Huawei P9 Plus features a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has an external SD slot that admits up to 256 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a 3430mAh battery capacity.
