The Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 has a general score of 55.7, which is just a bit better than Huawei Valiant's 53.6 global score. Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 is a a lot thinner and a little lighter cellphone than the Huawei Valiant. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 has newer 4.2 version while Huawei Valiant has Android 4.1.
Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 counts with a bit superior CPU than Huawei Valiant, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and a larger number of cores (and faster). Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 features a bit better display than Huawei Valiant, because although it has a bit worse screen density, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and a bigger display.
Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 counts with a very superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei Valiant, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 32 GB, the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 also has 16 GB internal memory capacity. Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 takes much better photographs and videos than Huawei Valiant, because it has a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a way higher resolution camera in the back.
