The HTC Rezound is just a bit better than the Kyocera DuraForce, having a global score of 60.7 against 57.9. The HTC Rezound body is a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter than the Kyocera DuraForce. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but the HTC Rezound has the older 4.0 version while Kyocera DuraForce has Android 4.4.2 version.
Kyocera DuraForce counts with a bit better display than HTC Rezound, because although it has a just a little worse pixels density, and they both have the same 1280 x 720 resolution, the Kyocera DuraForce also counts with a quite bigger screen. Kyocera DuraForce counts with a little faster CPU than HTC Rezound, because it has 1 GB more RAM memory, a larger number of cores (although they are slower) and an extra graphics co-processor.
The Kyocera DuraForce and the HTC Rezound count with incredibly similar storage to install applications and games, they have an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB and the same 16 GB internal storage capacity. The Kyocera DuraForce counts with a much longer battery life than HTC Rezound, because it has 3100mAh of battery capacity instead of 1620mAh.
The HTC Rezound shoots much clearer videos and photos than Kyocera DuraForce. They have the same video definition, a 8 megapixels resolution camera in the back and the same video frame rates.
Even being the best phone in our comparison, HTC Rezound is also a bargain compared to the other phones.
