Comparison review

HTC Surround is a little bit better than the LAVA Iris 450 Colour+, having a 53.3 score against 48.6. HTC Surround comes with Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS, and LAVA Iris 450 Colour+ comes with Android 4.2 OS. The HTC Surround design is somewhat thicker and heavier than LAVA Iris 450 Colour+. The LAVA Iris 450 Colour+ features just a bit better looking display than HTC Surround, because although it has a bit less pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a quite better 854 x 480 resolution and a larger screen.

LAVA Iris 450 Colour+ features a better performing processing unit than HTC Surround, because it has a much better graphics processing unit, more RAM and a greater number of cores (and faster). LAVA Iris 450 Colour+ counts with just a bit bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC Surround, because although it has just 8 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows up to 32 GB.

The HTC Surround takes a little bit better photos and videos than LAVA Iris 450 Colour+. Both have the same 1280x720 video quality, a back camera with a 5 mega-pixels and the same video frame rates. The LAVA Iris 450 Colour+ counts with a much longer battery lifetime than HTC Surround, because it has a 1800mAh battery size.

Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, HTC Surround is also a lot cheaper.
