LAVA Iris 450 Colour+ is a decent phone, which counts with a 4.5-inches capacitive touch-screen, a great Dual-Core processor speeding at 1.3 gigahertz, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front side camera.
Lava decided to equip this phone using a very powerful Dual-Core CPU clocking at 1.3 gigahertz with only 1 GB of RAM which is a little bit poor for a cellphone this powerful. Collaborating with graphic rendering, it also has a 500 megahertz ARM Mali-400 graphic processing unit. This cellphone comes with an 8 GB quite large internal storage and an SD card slot, enough to install a couple hundred games and apps without worrying about space.
It appears that Lava decided not to care much about the weight in this 4.8 oz phone. Lava sells the LAVA Iris 450 Colour+ in lots of color variations, black, brown, pink, blue and white. Although this phone is slim and comfortable it's not so slim as many other devices out there, with a thickness of 0.41 inches.
This phone features two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front side camera. It is also able to film HD 1280x720 videos. The camera also counts with a few good characteristics like fast burst mode, flash, geo tagging and HDR mode.
This cellphone has a good looking 854 x 480 4.5 inches display, making everything look colorful and brightful. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.
This phone offers wifi connectivity (although it can't provide it to other devices as a mobile mobile hotspot) and 3G connection type, over UMTS and EDGE technologies. This device uses two SIM cards to be able to to use 2 different phone numbers and even different carriers at the same time.
The LAVA Iris 450 Colour+ counts with a medium sized 1800 mAh Li-Ion battery providing this cellphone with a below average battery duration.
The LAVA Iris 450 Colour+ also includes a couple of useful features as Bluetooth (provides communication with other devices and accessories), GPS Geolocation and FM Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This phone is really expensive considering it is priced 249 dollars, and many similar phones are a lot cheaper than that.
