The Galaxy A40 has a general score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than LG G Flex 2's 75.2 global score. Galaxy A40 is a noticeably newer phone, and it's also thinner and just a little bit lighter than LG G Flex 2. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but the Galaxy A40 has 11 version and LG G Flex 2 has Android 5.0 version, giving you some nice extra features and some performance improvements.
LG G Flex 2 features a better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A40, although it has a little bit worse pixels number in each screen inch, a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a quite smaller display. Samsung Galaxy A40 counts with a much better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G Flex 2, because it has a SD memory slot that supports up to 512 GB and more internal storage capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy A40 captures much better videos and photos than LG G Flex 2, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A40 also has a more mega-pixels back facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A40 has just a bit longer battery performance than LG G Flex 2, because it has a 3100mAh battery size.
