Comparison review

The Google Nexus 5 is a bit better than the LG G2, having a 76 score against 73.7. Both phones in this comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Nexus 5 has newer 4.4.3 version while LG G2 has Android 4.4.2 version. The Google Nexus 5 is a a bit lighter and just a bit thinner phone than the LG G2, although both were released with only a couple of months difference.

Google Nexus 5 counts with a CPU that's very similar to the LG G2 one, both have the same number of cores, a 2 GB RAM memory and a 450 megahertz GPU. LG G2 counts with a little bit better looking display than Google Nexus 5, because although it has a bit less pixels per inch in the display, and they both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080, the LG G2 also counts with a quite larger display.

LG G2 has a little bit better camera than Google Nexus 5, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same camera aperture, the LG G2 also has a back camera with much more mega pixels, a bigger sensor taking higher quality videos and pictures and better 60 frames per second video frame rate.

LG G2 and Google Nexus 5 feature extremely similar memory for games and applications, and although the Google Nexus 5 has no slot for an SD memory card, they both have equal internal storage. LG G2 has improved battery life than Google Nexus 5, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2300mAh.

Although Google Nexus 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG G2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G2. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the LG G2, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
