The HTC U Ultra has a global score of 77, which is just a bit better than LG G2's general score of 73.7. Even though HTC U Ultra is heavier than LG G2, it's somewhat thinner and much newer. The LG G2 has a better looking display than HTC U Ultra, although it has a lot worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, a quite inferior count of pixels per display inch and a bit smaller screen.
LG G2 has just a bit better performance than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have 4 cpu cores, the LG G2 also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. HTC U Ultra has much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than LG G2, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity.
The HTC U Ultra has a battery life that's very similar to the battery lifetime in LG G2. HTC U Ultra captures clearer pictures and videos than LG G2, because although it has a back facing camera with a worse 12 mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a lot larger aperture to capture better photography in poorly lited situations, a much better 3840x2160 video quality and a much bigger camera sensor providing a much higher image quality.
Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G2. If you want to save some dollars, you can get LG G2, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
