Comparison review
Sony Xperia 5 has a general score of 81, which is a little bit better than the LG G2's overall score of 73.7. The Sony Xperia 5 design is noticeably newer and a bit thinner, but also heavier than the LG G2. The Xperia 5 counts with just a little better performance than LG G2, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger number of cores and more RAM memory.
The LG G2 features a more vivid screen than Xperia 5, although it has a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080, a little smaller display and a just a bit lower pixel density. Sony Xperia 5 features a superior storage to store more games and applications than LG G2, because it has 128 GB internal storage.
Xperia 5 captures just a bit better photos and videos than LG G2, because although it has a lower 12 MP resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a way bigger diafragm aperture for better low light photography and videos, a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Xperia 5 counts with just a bit better battery duration than LG G2, because it has 3140mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G2. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the LG G2, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
