Comparison review

The Galaxy Note8 is just a bit better than the LG G3, getting an 83 score against 76.4. The Galaxy Note8 design is a lot newer and a little bit thinner than the LG G3's, but it is also notably heavier. Both devices we are comparing use Android OS, but Galaxy Note8 has newer 9.0 Pie version and LG G3 has Android 5.0, so it gives some additional features and performance tweaks.

The LG G3 features a bit better CPU than Galaxy Note8, because although it has lesser cpu cores and 3 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit. LG G3 has a brighter screen than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit better pixels density.

Galaxy Note8 features much more memory to install applications and games than LG G3, because it has an external memory card slot that holds up to 256 GB and 64 GB internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit better camera than LG G3, because although it has a camera with a lower 12 mega pixels resolution and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a way larger camera aperture for better images and videos in low-light environments and a bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting higher quality pictures.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 has just a bit better battery performance than LG G3, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G3. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note8, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the LG G3, letting go a couple specifications.
