Galaxy Note9 has a score of 87.1, which is better than the LG G6's score of 75.6. Although the Galaxy Note9 is newer than LG G6, it is somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker. The LG G6 has a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has a bit worse 1440 x 2880 resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit better count of pixels per screen inch.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than LG G6, because although it has an external memory card slot that supports up to 512 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy Note9 features just a little better performance than LG G6, because it has a greater number of cores (and faster) and a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with improved battery duration than LG G6, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity. Galaxy Note9 features just a bit better camera than LG G6, because although it has a worse (4K) video quality and a back facing camera with a worse 12 MP resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture for better low-light photos and a larger sensor taking better quality videos and photos.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G6. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the LG G6, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
