Comparison review
Galaxy S6 edge+ is a bit better than LG G6, having a 79.3 score against 75.6. Both devices in this comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S6 edge+ has 5.1 version and LG G6 has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Galaxy S6 edge+ body is thinner and a little lighter than LG G6, despite of the fact that it was released around 19 months before.
LG G6 features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the LG G6 also has a higher number of cores. Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a bit more vivid screen than LG G6, although it has a little bit less pixels per inch of display and a little lower resolution of 2560 x 1440, they both have a screen with the same size.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a bit better camera than LG G6, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for shooting images in low light situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a higher 16 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera and a bigger back-facing camera sensor.
LG G6 counts with a much better memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. LG G6 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 10% greater battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G6. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy LG G6, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your savings.
