Comparison review
The Xperia 5 has an overall score of 81, which is a little bit better than the LG G6's overall score of 75.6. The Xperia 5 body is way newer than the LG G6's, but it is a little bit heavier and just a bit thicker. Sony Xperia 5 has just a little better hardware performance than LG G6, because it has a larger number of cores (and faster) and 2 GB more RAM.
LG G6 features a little sharper display than Xperia 5, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher screen pixel density and a better 1440 x 2880 resolution. Sony Xperia 5 captures a bit better photographs and videos than LG G6, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a back camera with a lower resolution, it also counts with a bigger back camera sensor and a bigger aperture to capture better low-light photography and video.
The Sony Xperia 5 counts with a quite bigger memory to store more apps and games than LG G6, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports 1,45 TB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. LG G6 features a little longer battery lifetime than Xperia 5, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG G6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G6. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Xperia 5, else you can save some money and get the LG G6, resigning some features and specifications.
