Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ1 has an overall score of 78.3, which is just a bit better than the LG G6's global score of 75.6. The Sony Xperia XZ1 body is just a little bit thinner and a little bit lighter than the LG G6, although both were released only 6 months apart. Xperia XZ1 counts with a bit faster processor than LG G6, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Xperia XZ1 also has a greater number of faster cores.
The LG G6 has a bit more vivid screen than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has more pixels per inch in the screen, a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2880px and a little bit larger screen. The Sony Xperia XZ1 shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than LG G6, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor providing a much better image quality and a much more mega-pixels camera in the back.
The Xperia XZ1 features more storage capacity for games and applications than LG G6, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB, the Xperia XZ1 also has 32 GB more internal storage capacity. The LG G6 counts with greater battery lifetime than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 3300mAh battery size instead of 2700mAh.
Although Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G6. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Xperia XZ1, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the LG G6, resigning some specifications.
