The LG G7 ThinQ is just a bit better than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, getting a global score of 81 against 79.8. The LG G7 ThinQ body has the same thickness than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, but it is somewhat lighter. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS (operating system), but LG G7 ThinQ has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1, providing lots of additional features.

The LG G7 ThinQ has a bit superior CPU than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the LG G7 ThinQ also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a bit better looking display than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a better number of pixels per display inch.

The Xperia Z5 Premium takes just a bit better photographs and videos than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rate and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for shooting pictures or videos in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a camera in the back with a lot better resolution and a lot bigger sensor which provides a much higher image and video quality.

The LG G7 ThinQ has a very superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB and 32 GB more internal storage capacity. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a little better battery life than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.

Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, the LG G7 ThinQ is also a bargain compared to others, making it very easy to pick between these phones.
