The Samsung Epic 4G Touch is slightly better than the LG Optimus 2X, having a score of 60.8 against 55.4. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Epic 4G Touch has newer 4.1.2 version and LG Optimus 2X has Android 4.0.
Samsung Epic 4G Touch counts with a bit faster processor than LG Optimus 2X, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Samsung Epic 4G Touch also has a greater amount of RAM. The LG Optimus 2X counts with a bit more vivid display than Samsung Epic 4G Touch, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 480, the LG Optimus 2X also counts with a little greater pixel density.
The Samsung Epic 4G Touch has a little bit better camera than LG Optimus 2X. They have the same video definition, the same video frame rates and a same resolution camera in the back. Samsung Epic 4G Touch features a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than LG Optimus 2X, and although they both have a SD extension slot that supports up to 32 GB, the Samsung Epic 4G Touch also has 16 GB internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Epic 4G Touch features improved battery duration than LG Optimus 2X, because it has a 1800mAh battery capacity.
