LG Optimus 2X Review

LG Optimus 2X is a little bit outdated Android cellphone launched back in 2010, including a Dual-Core CPU speeding at 1000 megahertz, a 4" capacitive display, and 2 cameras, an 8 megapixels back-facing camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front facing camera.

Though the LG Optimus 2X is very slim and comfortable it's not close to being one of the thinnest cellphones nowadays, with a thickness of 0.43". This phone isn't very light comparing with today standards, with a weight of 4.9 ounces.

LG designed the LG Optimus 2X with a good level 4-inches screen, and a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes everything look great. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

LG sells the LG Optimus 2X with a NVIDIA Tegra 250 T20 (Harmony) chip, including a great performance Dual-Core CPU clocking at 1000 MHz with 512 MB of RAM memory. The LG Optimus 2X comes with an interesting 8 GB internal storage memory and a slot for an SD memory card, which allows you to install hundreds of applications and games without running out of space.

This cellphone features two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front facing camera. this cellphone's back-facing camera lens has a F2.8 aperture so it's quite hard to take clear photos in low light environments. It also captures videos in Full HD 1920x1080. The camera also includes flash.

This cellphone uses a medium sized 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery that can keep it running for some hours, although you will need to charge it after some moderate to heavy usage. This cellphone has an estimated talk time of 7.8 hours and a stand by time of 400 hs according to LG.

This cellphone counts with WiFi connection (although it can't be shared with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and fast 3G connectivity, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a SIM card for GSM connection.

This cellphone also comes with a few interesting characteristics such as Bluetooth and GPS Navigation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This cellphone is priced about $ 499, which is high for this type of device. This cellphone is a good choice for you if you are looking for a social phone.
