HTC Raider 4G Review

HTC Raider 4G is a nice Android device released back in 2011, equipped with a great performance 1.2 gigahertz Dual-Core CPU, a 4.5 inches screen, and two cameras, an 8 megapixels back facing camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front camera. We will get a better understanding of this phone's advantages when we get into deeper details.

This device is for sale in black color. This cellphone is slim and comfortable, but it's not close to being one of the thinnest cellphones out there, with a thickness of 0.44 inches. Whereas the HTC Raider 4G just has 5.07" long and 2.64" wide, it's still able to fit a a 4.5 inches display. This time, HTC totally forgot about weight optimization, releasing it with a 6.24 ounces weight.

HTC decided to power the HTC Raider 4G using a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 APQ8060 system chip, which holds a great performance Dual-Core CPU running at 1200 megahertz and 1 GB of RAM memory. Collaborating with graphic calculations, the HTC Raider 4G also uses a 266 MHz Adreno 220 graphic processing unit. A nice advantage of the HTC Raider 4G is its quite big 16 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards, which allows the user to install hundreds of applications and games without any trouble.

The HTC Raider 4G is equipped with two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera. This phone also shoots videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second, and slow-motion videos up to 1280x720 (HD) at 60 frames per second (2 times slower than reality). In addition, this phone's camera also includes flash and auto-focus.

This device provides wifi connection (although it can't be provided to other devices around, acting as a wireless router or modem), 4G (LTE) high speed connection type and fast 3G data connection, supported by HSPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM services.

This device has a 1620 mAh medium Li-Ion removable battery, which is quite low for a demanding cellphone like this. According to HTC, the HTC Raider 4G has a reported stand by time of 293 hs and a talk time of 4.6 hs.

This cellphone also features a couple of useful features like Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS Navigation, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

HTC is selling this cellphone for 200 dollars, which is a really high price for a device this level. No matter if you will use it mostly for internet broswing and social networks, are looking for a cellphone to play games or will use it as a work phone, this cellphone is probably very appropiate for you.
