IPhone 8 is better than LG V20, getting a overall score of 85 against 77. The iPhone 8 design is newer, just a little thinner and lighter than LG V20. LG V20 has a slightly better looking display than iPhone 8, because it has a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px, a bigger screen and much more pixels per inch of display.
Apple iPhone 8 counts with a quite superior performance than LG V20, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a 64-bit processor. LG V20 features a bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than iPhone 8, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Apple iPhone 8 captures a bit better photos and videos than LG V20, although it has a worse 3840x2160 video quality, a back camera with a lot lower 12 megapixels resolution and a smaller sensor taking less light and dull colors, they both have a same size aperture. LG V20 counts with a superior battery performance than iPhone 8, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG V20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG V20. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the iPhone 8, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the LG V20, resigning a couple features and specs.
