Apple iPhone 8 has a global score of 85, which is slightly better than the LG V30's 79.1 overall score. The Apple iPhone 8 design has the same thickness than LG V30, but it's a bit lighter. The iPhone 8 counts with a little better hardware performance than LG V30, because although it has less and slower processing cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits CPU.
The LG V30 has a bit more vivid display than iPhone 8, because it has a larger display, a much greater screen density and a way better 1440 x 2880 resolution. LG V30 features more memory for applications and games than iPhone 8, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
IPhone 8 shoots clearer videos and photos than LG V30, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 video definition, a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for low light photos and video and a camera with a much worse resolution, it also counts with a larger back camera sensor. LG V30 features a very superior battery lifetime than Apple iPhone 8, because it has an 81 percent more battery capacity.
Although Apple iPhone 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG V30, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG V30. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Apple iPhone 8, otherwise you can save some money and buy the LG V30, resigning a couple specs and features.
