LG V30 is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone AR, with a 79.1 score against 77.4. Even though the LG V30 and the Asus ZenFone AR were released with only 2 months difference, the LG V30 is somewhat thinner and just a bit lighter. The LG V30 counts with a little more vivid screen than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has a little bit greater display density, a bit larger screen and a bit higher 1440 x 2880 resolution.
The Asus ZenFone AR has a quite bigger memory to install games and applications than LG V30, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB, the Asus ZenFone AR also has 128 GB internal memory capacity. LG V30 has a little bit better performance than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with more CPU cores.
Asus ZenFone AR's battery lifetime is just as good as LG V30's battery duration. Asus ZenFone AR shoots clearer videos and photos than LG V30, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing photos or video in low-light situations and lower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Asus ZenFone AR also counts with a way higher resolution camera and a larger sensor taking better quality pictures.
