Comparison review
LG G8 ThinQ is a little bit better than the LG V40 ThinQ, having a overall score of 84.3 against 81.2. Although the LG G8 ThinQ and the LG V40 ThinQ were only released with a couple months difference, LG G8 ThinQ's body is just a little bit lighter but just a little thicker. Both phones in this comparison come with Android OS, but the LG G8 ThinQ has a newer 9.0 Pie version while LG V40 ThinQ has Android 10 version, counting with some additional features.
The LG G8 ThinQ's processing unit is very similar to the LG V40 ThinQ one, both have the same RAM amount and 8 CPU cores. LG G8 ThinQ has a little bit better display than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have an equal 1440 x 3120 resolution, the LG G8 ThinQ also counts with a little better pixels quantity per inch in the display.
The LG G8 ThinQ features a bigger memory to store more games and applications than LG V40 ThinQ, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB, the LG G8 ThinQ also has more internal storage capacity. The LG V40 ThinQ counts with a slightly better camera than LG G8 ThinQ. Both of them have a 12 megapixels back-facing camera, a same size aperture, the same 60 frames per second video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and a same size camera sensor.
The LG G8 ThinQ costs a little more than the LG V40 ThinQ, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
