Comparison review
LG G8S ThinQ is slightly better than LG V40 ThinQ, getting an 82.5 score against 81.2. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G8S ThinQ has a newer 9.0 Pie version and LG V40 ThinQ has Android 10, so it gives some nice extra features and a performance increase. Even though the LG G8S ThinQ is better than the LG V40 ThinQ, it must be noted that it is also a a little thicker and a bit heavier cellphone.
LG V40 ThinQ and LG G8S ThinQ feature very similar processing units, they have the same RAM memory amount and 8 processing cores. LG V40 ThinQ has a little bit better looking screen than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a better quantity of pixels per inch of display, a little bigger screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px.
The LG G8S ThinQ features a quite bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than LG V40 ThinQ, and although they both have a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB, the LG G8S ThinQ also has more internal storage capacity. The LG G8S ThinQ counts with a little better battery duration than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has an 8% larger battery capacity.
The LG V40 ThinQ counts with just a bit better camera than LG G8S ThinQ, and although they both have the same 60 fps video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same resolution back camera, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a bigger aperture.
