LG V40 ThinQ has a global score of 81.2, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S4's 79 global score. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but LG V40 ThinQ has newer 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4 version, so it offers some additional features and a performance increase. The LG V40 ThinQ body is noticeably newer and just a bit thinner, but also extremely heavier than Samsung Galaxy S4.

The LG V40 ThinQ counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with more processing cores and a higher amount of RAM. Galaxy S4 has a bit more vivid screen than LG V40 ThinQ, although it has a lot lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px, a little less pixels per inch in the display and a much smaller display.

LG V40 ThinQ has a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S4, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB. LG V40 ThinQ counts with superior battery life than Galaxy S4, because it has a 27 percent greater battery size.

LG V40 ThinQ counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has a lesser MP resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a much higher video definition, a lot bigger diafragm aperture for better low-light photography and a larger sensor which gives a higher image and video quality.

Although LG V40 ThinQ is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S4. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Galaxy S4, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your money.
