The Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a general score of 85.6, which is just a bit better than the LG V40 ThinQ's 81.2 global score. Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a much newer and just a little bit thinner device than LG V40 ThinQ, but it is also just a little heavier. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a newer 11 version and LG V40 ThinQ has Android 10.
LG V40 ThinQ has a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels count per inch in the display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 features a processing unit that is very similar to the processing unit in LG V40 ThinQ, and although the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has more RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.
The LG V40 ThinQ takes way better pictures and videos than Galaxy Z Flip 3, and although they both have a 12 mega-pixels back-facing camera, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a larger aperture to take better low light photography. The LG V40 ThinQ has a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Z Flip 3, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3's battery lifetime is just as good as the LG V40 ThinQ one.
Although Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG V40 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Z Flip 3, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the LG V40 ThinQ, giving up a couple features and specifications.
