Comparison review

LG V40 ThinQ has an overall score of 81.2, which is slightly better than the Sony Xperia Z3's 77.3 general score. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but the LG V40 ThinQ has the older 10 version while Sony Xperia Z3 has Android 4.4.4. The LG V40 ThinQ body is noticeably newer, a bit lighter and somewhat thinner than the Sony Xperia Z3.

Sony Xperia Z3 has a bit more vivid screen than LG V40 ThinQ, although it has a bit smaller screen, a little bit lower screen pixel density and a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px. LG V40 ThinQ has much more storage for games and applications than Xperia Z3, because it has an external memory card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.

LG V40 ThinQ has a bit faster processor than Xperia Z3, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores and a larger amount of RAM. The LG V40 ThinQ features a little longer battery performance than Sony Xperia Z3, because it has a 3300mAh battery size.

The Sony Xperia Z3 features a little bit better camera than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a lot smaller aperture which is not good for shooting photos or videos in poorly lited situations and worse video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia Z3 also counts with a camera with a much higher resolution and a larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

The LG V40 ThinQ costs more than Xperia Z3, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
