Comparison review

The LG V40 ThinQ has a general score of 81.2, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Black Shark's 80.4 general score. Even though LG V40 ThinQ and the Xiaomi Black Shark were only released 6 months apart, LG V40 ThinQ is thinner and somewhat lighter. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the LG V40 ThinQ has the previous 10 version and Xiaomi Black Shark has Android 9.0 Pie version.

LG V40 ThinQ has a little bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Black Shark, because it has a better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels, a little bigger screen and a greater quantity of pixels per inch of screen. LG V40 ThinQ and Xiaomi Black Shark feature incredibly similar processors, and although the Xiaomi Black Shark has a greater amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.

LG V40 ThinQ features a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Black Shark features better battery duration than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 21 percent greater battery capacity.

The LG V40 ThinQ shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark, and although they both have the same video resolution and a back facing camera with a 12 megapixels resolution, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a bigger aperture, a bigger sensor taking better quality photographs and videos and faster video frame rates.
