Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a score of 84.7, which is slightly better than the LG V50 ThinQ's 83.7 global score. Even though the Asus ROG Phone 5 is newer than the LG V50 ThinQ, it's notably heavier and somewhat thicker. Asus ROG Phone 5 has a bit better looking display than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a lot lower 1080 x 2448 resolution and a lot less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a quite larger screen.
Asus ROG Phone 5 has a CPU that's very similar to the processor in LG V50 ThinQ, and although the Asus ROG Phone 5 has a greater amount of RAM, they both have 8 cores. The Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a much better camera than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low light images and videos, it also counts with a lot better resolution camera, a much higher video quality and a much bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
LG V50 ThinQ features a way bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 5, and although they both have the same internal storage, the LG V50 ThinQ also has an external SD slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. Asus ROG Phone 5 features a superior battery performance than LG V50 ThinQ, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
