Comparison review
Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max has a score of 93.2, which is a little bit better than LG Velvet's overall score of 87.1. The Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max design is just a little thinner but noticeably heavier than the LG Velvet, and both of them were only released with a couple of months difference. The Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max features a sharper display than LG Velvet, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of screen and a little bit higher resolution of 1284 x 2778px.
The LG Velvet counts with a very superior memory capacity to install games and applications than iPhone 12 Pro Max, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG Velvet also has an external memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max counts with a better processing power than LG Velvet, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster), and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max also counts with a 64 bits CPU.
LG Velvet features a superior camera than Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rate and a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for taking photos and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same video quality, the LG Velvet also counts with a camera in the back with way more MP.
The LG Velvet has just a little better battery performance than iPhone 12 Pro Max, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity against 3687mAh.
Although iPhone 12 Pro Max is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG Velvet, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG Velvet. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy iPhone 12 Pro Max, else you can save some dollars and get the LG Velvet, letting go some specs and features.
