Comparison review
IPhone 8 Plus is just a bit better than LG Velvet, having an 87.1 score against 87.1. Despite of the fact iPhone 8 Plus is notably older and somewhat heavier than LG Velvet, it's construction is still a little thinner. Apple iPhone 8 Plus counts with a little bit better looking screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a quite lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher pixel density.
The iPhone 8 Plus has a bit better processing power than LG Velvet, because although it has less and slower processing cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU. The LG Velvet features a superior camera than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has worse video frame rates, and they both have the same aperture and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the LG Velvet also counts with a camera with a lot better resolution and a lot bigger sensor.
The LG Velvet has a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG Velvet counts with a much better battery life than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity against 2691mAh.
Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG Velvet, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG Velvet. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy LG Velvet, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
