Comparison review
The LG Velvet is slightly better than Asus ROG Phone 8, getting a global score of 87.1 against 79.5. The LG Velvet is an older phone than the Asus ROG Phone 8, but LG made it notably lighter and thinner anyway. The LG Velvet features a much better hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has less RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores.
Asus ROG Phone 8 features a sharper display than LG Velvet, although it has a quite lower 1080 x 2400px resolution and a little less pixels per inch of screen, they both have a screen with the same size. The LG Velvet features a much better storage to install applications and games than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has superior battery lifetime than LG Velvet, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a little bit better camera than LG Velvet, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low light photos, it also counts with a lot higher video resolution, a lot bigger sensor which gives a way better image and video quality and a back-facing camera with more mega-pixels.
