Comparison review
LG Velvet has an overall score of 87.1, which is a bit better than Google Pixel 2 XL's general score of 82.5. The LG Velvet body has the same thickness than the Google Pixel 2 XL, but it is just a little bit heavier. Google Pixel 2 XL features a little bit better looking display than LG Velvet, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2880 resolution and a better pixels number in each inch of screen.
The LG Velvet counts with a little better processing power than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the LG Velvet also has a larger amount of RAM. The LG Velvet counts with a much better camera than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have the same aperture, the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the LG Velvet also has a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot higher quality pictures and videos and a camera with a way better resolution.
The LG Velvet has a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG Velvet also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The LG Velvet features superior battery performance than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.
Although LG Velvet is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Pixel 2 XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 2 XL. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy LG Velvet, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Pixel 2 XL, letting go a couple specifications.
