Comparison review
LG Velvet is just a bit better than Google Pixel 3, with an 87.1 score against 80. The LG Velvet design has the same thickness than the Google Pixel 3, but it's somewhat heavier. Google Pixel 3 counts with a bit better screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a quite smaller display and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2160px, it also counts with a little greater pixels density.
Google Pixel 3 counts with a processor that is just as good as LG Velvet's processor, and although the Google Pixel 3 has 2 GB less RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores. LG Velvet captures much clearer photos and videos than Google Pixel 3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the same aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the LG Velvet also has a way bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a lot better resolution back-facing camera.
LG Velvet counts with a superior memory for games and applications than Google Pixel 3, because it has a SD memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal memory. The LG Velvet has a way better battery lifetime than Google Pixel 3, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity instead of 2915mAh.
Although LG Velvet is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Pixel 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 3. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the LG Velvet, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Google Pixel 3, resigning a couple features and specifications.
