Comparison review
The LG Velvet is better than the HTC One M9, getting a general score of 87.1 against 77.7. The LG Velvet is a a lot newer and somewhat thinner phone than the HTC One M9, but it's somewhat heavier. HTC One M9 counts with a much better display than LG Velvet, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a bit lower 1920 x 1080px resolution, it also counts with a quite higher number of pixels per inch in the display.
HTC One M9 has a little faster processing unit than LG Velvet, because although it has 3 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the HTC One M9 also counts with an additional graphics processing unit and a 64 bits CPU. The LG Velvet shoots much clearer pictures and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the LG Velvet also has a back facing camera with a lot better resolution, a larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low light photography and video.
The LG Velvet counts with a way bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC One M9, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB and more internal storage capacity. The LG Velvet features a much longer battery performance than HTC One M9, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.
The LG Velvet is a lot more expensive than the HTC One M9, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
