Comparison review
LG Velvet is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 30, getting an 87.1 score against 84. The LG Velvet is a just a bit thinner and a little bit lighter device than Huawei Mate 30, even when they were released only a couple months apart. Huawei Mate 30 has a screen that's very similar to the LG Velvet one, although the Huawei Mate 30 has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a quite smaller screen and a just a bit worse screen pixels density.
Huawei Mate 30 counts with a little better hardware performance than LG Velvet, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 30 also has more RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 30 counts with a bit better camera than LG Velvet, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a back facing camera with a worse resolution, and they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Huawei Mate 30 also counts with a much bigger sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
The LG Velvet features a lot bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Mate 30, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG Velvet also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG Velvet features a bit better battery life than Huawei Mate 30, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.
