The LG Velvet has a score of 87.1, which is just a bit better than Huawei P30 Pro's 82.1 global score. The LG Velvet construction is newer, just a little thinner and just a little lighter than the Huawei P30 Pro. Huawei P30 Pro features a little bit better performance than LG Velvet. Both of them have a 6 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
Huawei P30 Pro counts with a display that's just as good as LG Velvet's screen, because although the Huawei P30 Pro has a little bit smaller display and a little bit worse 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a little bit greater display density. The LG Velvet has much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P30 Pro, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG Velvet also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB.
The LG Velvet features a bit longer battery performance than Huawei P30 Pro, because it has a 2 percent more battery size. Huawei P30 Pro shoots clearer pictures and videos than LG Velvet, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 video quality and a back camera with a lower 40 mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better photos in low-light situations and a larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
