The Huawei P40 Pro has a general score of 88.2, which is a little bit better than the LG Velvet's 87.1 general score. The Huawei P40 Pro design is heavier and thicker than the LG Velvet. The Huawei P40 Pro has a bit faster processing unit than LG Velvet, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Huawei P40 Pro counts with a slightly better looking display than LG Velvet, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher 1200 x 2640 pixels resolution and a little bit better pixels density. The LG Velvet features a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have equal internal storage, the LG Velvet also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.

Huawei P40 Pro features a much better camera than LG Velvet, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing pictures or videos in low light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with faster video frame rates, a back-facing camera with a better resolution and a much larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
