LG Velvet is much better than LG G3, with an 87.1 score against 76.4. The LG Velvet is a a lot newer and somewhat thinner phone than LG G3, although it is also somewhat heavier. The LG G3 counts with a bit better performance than LG Velvet, because although it has 4 less cores (although they are faster) and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a graphics processor.

LG G3 counts with an incredibly better looking screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher 2560 x 1440px resolution and a greater pixels density. The LG Velvet captures much clearer videos and photos than LG G3, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the LG Velvet also has a lot larger diafragm aperture to take better low light captures and videos, a back facing camera with a way better 48 mega-pixels resolution and a way larger camera sensor.

LG Velvet has a way bigger memory to install games and applications than LG G3, because it has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB and 96 GB more internal memory capacity. LG Velvet has a way better battery life than LG G3, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.

The LG Velvet is a lot more expensive than LG G3, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
