Comparison review
LG Velvet is much better than the LG G5, getting a overall score of 87.1 against 76.1. LG Velvet's body is way newer, but a little thicker and heavier than the LG G5. LG Velvet features a little better processing power than LG G5, because it has a larger number of cores and a larger amount of RAM.
The LG G5 features a bit better screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a greater pixels density. LG Velvet shoots much clearer videos and photos than LG G5, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same aperture and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the LG Velvet also has a camera in the back with a lot higher resolution and a lot larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
LG Velvet features a superior memory capacity to install applications and games than LG G5, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB, the LG Velvet also has more internal storage capacity. LG Velvet features a superior battery performance than LG G5, because it has a 4300mAh battery size.
Even being the best phone in our comparison, the LG Velvet is also a bargain compared to the other devices.
