Comparison review

LG Velvet has a general score of 87.1, which is a little bit better than the LG G7 ThinQ's general score of 81. LG Velvet's design has the same thickness than the LG G7 ThinQ, but it is heavier. LG G7 ThinQ counts with a sharper display than LG Velvet, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a better pixels density.

LG G7 ThinQ has a little better hardware performance than LG Velvet, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. LG Velvet takes much better photos and videos than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for taking images in low light environments and worse video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the LG Velvet also counts with a way more mega pixels back-facing camera and a much larger sensor taking much better quality photos.

The LG Velvet has a better storage to install games and applications than LG G7 ThinQ, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB, the LG Velvet also has 64 GB more internal memory capacity. LG Velvet counts with a much better battery life than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has a 4300mAh battery size.

Although LG Velvet is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG G7 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G7 ThinQ. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy LG G7 ThinQ, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
