Comparison review
LG Velvet has an overall score of 87.1, which is a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Duo 2's general score of 85.3. The LG Velvet body is a lot lighter than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, although it is way thicker and was released only 16 months before. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with a slightly better looking screen than LG Velvet, because it has a quite greater pixels density, a higher 1892 x 2688 resolution and a larger display.
LG Velvet has a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the LG Velvet also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has just a bit better hardware performance than LG Velvet, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features just a little better battery performance than LG Velvet, because it has 4449mAh of battery capacity against 4300mAh. LG Velvet takes better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has worse video frame rate and a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the LG Velvet also counts with a lot more mega pixels camera in the back.
Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, the LG Velvet is also a bargain compared to the other ones.
