Comparison review
The LG Velvet is a bit better than the Motorola Edge 20, getting an 87.1 score against 86.1. Even though LG Velvet is better than Motorola Edge 20, it must be noted that it's also an older, a bit heavier and a bit thicker cellphone. Motorola Edge 20 and LG Velvet feature similar screens, although the Motorola Edge 20 has a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2400px, a just a little worse amount of pixels per screen inch and a quite smaller display.
The Motorola Edge 20 features a bit better performance than LG Velvet, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Motorola Edge 20 also has 2 GB more RAM. The Motorola Edge 20 features a slightly better camera than LG Velvet, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for taking pictures or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Motorola Edge 20 also counts with a way higher resolution back facing camera.
The LG Velvet has a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Motorola Edge 20, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the LG Velvet also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG Velvet features a little better battery duration than Motorola Edge 20, because it has an 8% bigger battery capacity.
