Comparison review
LG Velvet is much better than the Motorola Edge 40, getting a score of 87.1 against 77.2. The LG Velvet is an extremely older, a little heavier and just a bit thicker cellphone than the Motorola Edge 40. Motorola Edge 40 counts with a bit sharper display than LG Velvet, because although it has a bit smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2400px, it also counts with a just a bit greater amount of pixels per inch in the display.
The LG Velvet features a lot bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the LG Velvet also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG Velvet counts with a much faster CPU than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Motorola Edge 40 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than LG Velvet, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a camera in the back with a higher resolution, a way bigger back camera sensor and a much larger camera aperture for better low-light captures and videos.
The Motorola Edge 40 counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than LG Velvet, because it has a 2 percent greater battery capacity.
