Comparison review
The LG Velvet is a bit better than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, with a global score of 87.1 against 86.3. Although LG Velvet is extremely older than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, it's body is a little bit lighter and a little thinner. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro counts with a much better display than LG Velvet, although it has a little bit smaller display, a just a bit worse pixels density and a little bit worse 1080 x 2400 resolution.
The LG Velvet features a much powerful processing unit than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. Motorola Edge 50 Pro counts with a slightly better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than LG Velvet, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro captures a little bit better photos and videos than LG Velvet, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro also has a way bigger sensor which provides a way higher image and video quality, a more mega pixels back-facing camera and a lot bigger aperture.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a bit better battery duration than LG Velvet, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4300mAh.
