Comparison review
The LG Velvet has an overall score of 87.1, which is better than the Moto G8 Power's 76 general score. LG Velvet is a just a bit lighter and thinner cellphone than Moto G8 Power, even though both were released only a couple of months apart. LG Velvet has a bit more vivid screen than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a bit worse screen density, it also counts with a bit bigger display and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2460px.
LG Velvet features a little bit better performance than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG Velvet also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The LG Velvet has a much greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Moto G8 Power, because it has 64 GB more internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB.
The LG Velvet features a better camera than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography and videos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the LG Velvet also counts with a much higher resolution camera and a much larger sensor providing a way higher image quality.
Moto G8 Power features superior battery performance than LG Velvet, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
The LG Velvet is a little more expensive than Moto G8 Power, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
